Tragedy

FACTS:
  • 20 innocent school children are dead from a shooting in their elementary school
  • 6 School teachers and personnel were killed in the shooting at the school
  • Connecticut survivors to attend school in neighboring town
  • We don't know what caused this person to do this unspeakable act
  • Teachers and school personnel acted heroically

  • My personal thoughts about the shooting:

    • Why did it have to happen?
    • Very sad.
    • Angry at the criminal.
    • Happy most of the teachers were heroes and saved some children's life.
    • Wish it didn't happen.
    • What's is wrong with those people.

    Why do Students Procrastinate

    Procrastination

Procrastination; to ignore or put off intentionally the doing of something that should be already be done.

Well, of course I've  procrastinate before, multiple times. It's not a good thing because not only you get behind, you'd have to do everything last minute.
It's such a better feeling when you do what you need to do on time and get it done. It gets a lot of stress off your shoulders and you won't have to worry about that project that's due tomorrow or that five page essay that's due at the end of school.
I've done it, I try not to... But their's always those "excuses" that's not allowed or acceptable.

    Best Field Trip Ever

                                                                       Camp Grady Spruce

My Fifth grade year our class got to go on a field trip and we had went to Camp Grady         Spruce. For one, it was the best field trip I have ever been on. There was so many fun exciting activities that we had got to do.
My favorite activity was going to the cabin setting up everything and getting to ride the horses they had. We climbed mountains and our tour teacher would tell us all the interesting facts of what has been there and how long it has been there.
By the end of the day we sat by the fire, our teacher would tell interesting stories till we had to go back to the cabin and continue the fun adventures I once had.
And for two I didn't only have fun, I learned a whole lot as well.

    Ethical Dilemma

                                                                   Ethical Dilemma ....

Mark is a very smart guy, I like the way he thinks a head. People never like to get into trouble, and sometimes people take advantage to do whatever to get out of a situation. The best way to solve this solution is to tell the truth and be straight up with whatever comes your way. Do the right thing, tell her what had happen and tell your friends that they did was wrong.

Never judge a book by its cover, that saying is the best! You don't  not only  earn respect, but you do whats right. When you do what is right, it gives you this feeling of joy and makes a difference and makes people happy.

I've never have been in this position, and it makes me sad knowing people would be so inconsiderate and rude. Mark was stuck in this position and had never been put in this type of spot and was trying to do what was right, but just didn't know how to handle it.

You put anything on the internet, it is staying on the internet permanent. Be careful what you say, and be nice to all your friends, never add people you don't know personally, and handle your situations in a good way.

Being a interpreter would be a awesome job, and that is why I have decided I'd like to translate english to sign language and vice versa. What has expired to to take this field is because my little brother is deaf and i've been surrounded by a lot of the deaf.
I enjoy every singe moment just talking/ signing and communicating in this amazing language. It would be an great career. Sign language is my second language, I do it every day. I love to do it and yes I believe this is the job for me, definitely.

    Three More Mondays

The past two years, has been really rough. Barley making it, working everyday. At the end I usually pull things together, always keeping my head up. The teaching career for me could be possible, more leaning to the interpreter career. As well as handling with younger children; if I had to be a teacher i'd like to teach an older class. Figured out i'm not the best kindergarden intern but, if I had a chance to redo everything i'd change a few things for better. I enjoyed this year, it's been interesting and possibly next year I might do it again. Mrs. Stevens has been a great teacher, and a friend. Thank you.

What teachers want parents to know

In the article What teachers want parents to know is mainly about how teachers don't want to hear excuses         for parents for the students. They say "And if you really want to help your children be successful, stop making excuses for them."
My opinion is that yeah they might be excuses but, most of them are things that we can't help or have no control over.
We are human, we are not perfect and yes as much as we want to be successful and do our best not everything will work out perfect there will always be challenges and some we can't follow through.
Although some parents take somethings to far with the excuses, does not mean they do not care..Of course they care they don't want their children "  end up 25 and jobless, sitting on your couch eating potato chips... " It's your life, do what you want.. that's how I see it.

    Ron Clark #1 Rule

    Family

In "The Ron Clark Story" the number one rule is "We are a family". One reason why that is the number one rule is because it has similar activities in a class room as well at home. You will always be there for your family and you will always be there for your friends. If I had to make up a rule for my class room i'd have to say to be responsible. If you are responsible you will take care of rings that need to be done and it will not only help in school but, out in the real world it will help you too. Being responsible not only helps in the present it will also help in the future.

    You're Hired!

After reading Lifehacker, my strengths and weaknesses in an interview situation would be good and bad.
My strengths are to be polite, good manners, eye contact, hands in lap, and dress approprately.
My weaknesses is that I'm not really good at communicating, i've gotten better over the years but i'm not really good at keeping a conversation going. Over all I know I can do it, and just stay positive and have good manners then anybody could do it.

Being able to see whats going on, and being able to get involved in the activities is so much fun!
Better learning experience and  more entertaining.

    Make It Happen in 2012!

Well, I'm getting paid and I want to buy all new supplies.
I want to be more organized and creative.
    Meet my deadlines on time.
Try to make A's and B's instead of B's and C's.
Just start new and make better of myself.

    The Ideal Classroom

In the article The Ideal Classroom has a lot of good qualities in the learning environment.  I think if the students are more comfortable, they would't want to get up as much and they would concentrate on their school work instead of going to the restroom and not coming back till the end of class because they were goofing off. I mean it's the twenty-first century things are getting more advance and might as well use the technology given to us and put it to use.
I think having the idea or lesson over Santa Clause and different Christmas stories in the class room is good for the students because they will learn how everybody's culture is different. They also get an example of all the importance of family and generosity from the giving of presents and the long periods of time spent together with family, to get the feel of giving and receiving to others. It's always good to experience the special occasion that only comes once a year.
